Is Energy Eternal? (Discussion)

It is a well known principle of Science that Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it only changes form from one type of energy to another type (like electrical energy to sound energy etc.). It, therefore, follows that energy, in its essence, is eternal! Please share your views.

yes energy is eternal but Einstein stated that matter could be changed into energy and energy into matter. How CAN WE TURN ENERGY INTO MATTER?

I believe it is possible to convert energy into matter. It is all a matter of rearragement of atoms/molecules. By subjecting energy to pressure/temperture changes or other kind of forces, it can be changed into liquid/solid material, e.g steam/steam energy can be changed back to its liquid state (water) which can again be changed to solid (ice) by subjecting to temperature changes.
